User Data Deletion Request

At Realign Co, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains what data we collect, how it is used, and how you can request deletion of your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and platform requirements.

1. What Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to fulfill your orders and improve your shopping experience:

  • Identity & Contact Information: Full name, email address, and shipping/billing address — collected to process and fulfill your orders.
  • Payment Information: Payment transactions are processed securely by Shopify Payments and/or Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
  • Order History: Records of purchases made through our store, retained for order support and legal compliance.
  • Browsing & Behavioral Data: Anonymous browsing and interaction data collected via the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising targeting and analytics purposes. This data does not personally identify you.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You may submit a data deletion request at any time. To do so, please send an email to our privacy team:

  • Email: privacy@realignco.com
  • Subject Line: Data Deletion Request
  • Include in your message: Your full name, the email address associated with your account, and the phrase "Delete all my data."

What We Will Do

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will process your request within 30 business days. The following will be deleted:

  • Your customer account and associated profile data
  • Order history (where not required for legal or financial compliance)
  • Email marketing preferences and opt-in records

What Cannot Be Deleted

Certain data must be retained to comply with applicable laws and regulations:

  • Transaction Records: Financial and tax records related to completed purchases are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with IRS requirements and applicable tax laws. This data is used solely for legal and accounting compliance and is not used for marketing purposes.

3. Facebook / Meta Data

We use the Meta Pixel to track anonymous browsing behavior for advertising optimization. Please note the following:

  • We do not store Facebook user IDs or Meta profile data on our servers.
  • Meta Pixel data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. under their own data policies.
  • To remove or manage your Facebook ad targeting data, please visit: facebook.com/ads/preferences
  • Facebook Login: We do not use Facebook Login on our store. No Facebook account credentials or social profile data are stored by us.

4. Shopify Data Processing

Our store is hosted and operated on the Shopify platform. Customer data — including your name, email address, shipping address, and order history — is stored and processed by Shopify Inc. as a data sub-processor.

  • Shopify GDPR & Data Rights Tools: Customers may also contact Shopify directly to exercise data rights under GDPR or other applicable privacy laws.

Submitting a deletion request to us will trigger the appropriate workflows within our Shopify account. For data held directly by Shopify, you may also contact them through their privacy portal.
